Travel fees are separate from notarization fees and are based on distance and time.

• Extended service area: Varies by distance

Online notarization is available via Proof, a secure digital notarization platform. 

• Online notarization session:  Starting at $25
• Additional fees may apply based on document type

Eligibility is subject to document type and state requirements. 

For convenience and urgent needs, the following may apply:

• Evenings / Weekends: $25-$50+
• Same-day or rush appointments: Additional fee
• Last-minute scheduling: Subject to availability 

• Credit / Debit Cards
• Electronic payments
• Other payment methods as approved 

Payment is due at the time of service.

• A Notary Public does not provide legal advice or prepare legal documents.
• Documents must be completed (but not signed) prior to notarization.
• Fees may vary based on complexity, location, or special circumstances. 

All notarization services are provided in accordance with Tennessee state law. A Notary Public does not provide legal advice, prepare legal documents, or determine the legality or validity of any document. Clients are responsible for ensuring documents are complete and accurate prior to the appointment.

All signers must be present at the time of notarization and provide valid, government-issued photo identification. Documents should not be signed in advance unless specifically instructed.

Fees, including travel and convenience fees, will be disclosed and confirmed prior to the appointment. Additional fees may apply for extended travel, after-hours appointments, waiting time, incomplete documents, or last-minute changes. Payment is due at the time of service.

Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled; however, late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Online notarization availability is subject to document eligibility and state requirements.

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice at no charge.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as no-show appointments, may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover reserved time and travel.

If the notary arrives at the scheduled location and the appointment cannot be completed due to incomplete documents, missing identification, unavailable signers, or client unpreparedness, the appointment may be considered a no-show and a fee may apply.

For online notarization appointments, failure to join the scheduled session on time may be treated as a missed appointment.

Exceptions may be considered for emergencies or unforeseen circumstances at the discretion of Signings By Simmone.
